Angry Birds Space – A month on

Angry Birds Space has been available since 22nd March and from one months worth of downloads it had reached sky high with over 10 million hits in the first few days of release and I’m not surprised why.

There are new concepts, new birds and it’s out of this world, literally. The overall game is very similar to the original launched in 2009 by Rovio as well as the Rio and Seasons versions however the concept of gravity makes the Space one even more unique, exciting and challenging, but not necessarily too hard to complete (thanks to Angry Birds Walkthrough). Not only have they introduced the idea of gravity, there is an element of a frozen planet and five new birds to catapult. Including Lazer Bird, Ice Bird and Terence, which are already plush toys available so you can make your very own DIY Angry Birds game at home.

I play this game on my Samsung Galaxy Ace and even though the screen is small, the graphics and overall gaming quality is great. My accuracy however is not so good, but that’s probably because I have chubby fingers. Anyway back to the point, likes and dislikes. I dislike the fact that I have to wait to see what else Rovio can come up with next, because if it’s this good it’s going to be totally addictive. Overall it’s a thumbs up from me.

All I can say from now on is ‘watch this SPACE’! Get it? .. WWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
